Front dropped Cross members are a necessity when performing crossover steering or high steer on Toyota Hilux's, 4Runner and Surf.
The cross members are also needed when doing a solid axle conversion on an IFS Hilux/Surf to relocate the front springs.
The Cross member will drop the front spring eye down 2 inches from where a solid axle mount would be positioned.
